Connectivity

VivaNet

VivaNet is a DICOM-compatible service for the transfer of clinical, dermoscopic and confocal images. The encrypted images are transferred to the VivaNet server via a secure connection. A specially trained doctor can retrieve the images promptly, annotate them and give a second opinion.

VivaNet advantages
• Expert assistance in reading the confocal images
• Receiving a second opinion
• Quick acquisition of confocal expertise
• Access to scientific collaborations / multicentric studies
• Immediate introduction to confocal microscopy
Technical Data - MAVIG Server:
• Professional server solution, hosted by Hartl EDV GmbH & Co KG
• Quick access from anywhere
• Data security by means of continuous backups
• All data is encrypted during transmission using the HTTPS protocol
• All services comply with the data protection and security rules according to the EU Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
Local IT requirements
• Minimum internet connection: VDSL 25 (upload speed: > 5 Mbit/s)
• Local firewall for outgoing HTTPS traffic via port 443

VivaLan

The VivaLan networking solution enables central patient management, which also includes a software-related interface for clinical, dermatoscopic and confocal imaging. VivaLan streamlines the workflow and saves valuable time.

The Advantages at a Glance:
• Efficient workflow
• Cost reduction by means of streamlined data management
• Same software interfaces for clinical, dermatoscopic and confocal image data including its documentation
• Optional connectivity to patient management systems (PACS, GDT and HL7)
Local IT requirements
• Operating system Microsoft Windows Server
• Database Microsoft SQL Server
• Free space 2 TB (seamless capacity expansion recommended)
≈ 1 GB / patient
• Network connection Gigabit-Ethernet
(A reliable network connection to the VivaScope systems is required, no WLAN)
